Spicy Sausage And Peppers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. smoked sausage
    1/2 lb. hot sausage
    1 large onion
    1 large green pepper
    1 large red pepper
    1/8 tsp. minced garlic
    2 tsp. vegetable oil
    1/4 c. red wine
    6 leaves fresh basil
    2 pinches or more ground red pepper
    black pepper
Preparation
    Cut sausage into 1/2-inch lengths.
    Cut peppers into long 1/2-inch strips and cook in boiling water 1 1/2 minutes; drain. Rinse with cold water and set aside.
    Halve onion and cut each half into 8 wedges; put aside.
