Aunt Violet'S Caramel Corn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 qt. popped corn
    1 c. butter
    1/2 tsp. salt
    nuts (optional)
    2 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. Karo (white)
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Pop corn.
    Remove all unpopped kernels.
    Heat sugar, butter, Karo and salt in saucepan until bubbly around edges.
    Continue cooking for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and add baking soda.
    Stir until foamy.
    Pour over popcorn until well coated.
    Add nuts if desired, stirring well.
