Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    6 eggs, well beaten
    1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
    1/2 lb. butter
    2 c. flour, sifted 3 times
Preparation
    Cream the sugar and butter well. Add eggs, flour and flavoring.
    Mix well with electric mixer at high speed.
    Pour into a well-greased and floured tube pan and bake 1 1/4 hours at 325\u00b0.
