Pork Chops In Sauerkraut - cooking recipe
Ingredients

8 lean rib or loin pork chops
2 (1 lb.) cans applesauce
2 large onions, minced
1 can sauerkraut (1 lb. 14 oz.), drained
Preparation

Trim fat from chops.
Brown both sides lightly.
Remove. Brown onions in drippings.
Remove from heat and add applesauce. Mix well.
Spread well drained sauerkraut on bottom of a baking dish or electric frypan.
Put in chops, then applesauce mixture. Bake for 1 hour at 240\u00b0 in frypan or 1 1/2 hours at 350\u00b0 if in oven.
Serves 6 to 8.
