Corn Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. self-rising corn meal
    1 egg
    1 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Mix and beat for 1 minute; add a little water, if needed, to make a slightly soft batter.
    Bake at 500\u00b0 until brown.
    A black skillet is best.
