Sarma - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground lamb or beef or 1/2 lb. each, well blended
    1/2 c. uncooked regular rice, rinsed
    2 medium onions, chopped fine
    few sprigs parsley, chopped
    2 (8 oz. each) cans tomato sauce, divided
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 (16 oz.) jar grape leaves
Preparation
    Combine meat, rice, onions, parsley, 1 can tomato sauce and salt and pepper as desired in a large bowl.
    Mix well by hand. Soak grape leaves in cool water to cover about 30 minutes, then rinse and dry, spreading between layers of paper towels to drain. Place each grape leaf on clean work surface, glossy side down. Place 1 heaping teaspoonful of filling in center of leaf at widest part.
    Pull stem end over to cover filling. Fold in both sides, then firmly roll toward point of leaf. Repeat with remaining leaves.
