Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. (12 oz. bottle) Log Cabin syrup
    1 c. coarsely chopped pecans
    1 unbaked 8-inch pie shell
    3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1/4 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    3 eggs, well beaten
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Bring syrup to a boil in a 1 1/2-quart saucepan.
    Boil gently, uncovered, for 8 minutes.
    Cool about 15 minutes.
    Sprinkle nuts in pie shell.
    Cream butter.
    Blend in sugar, flour and salt.
    Add eggs, syrup and vanilla; mix well.
    Pour into shell.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 40 to 45 minutes, or until pie is completely puffed across top and browned.
