Egg Custard Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 eggs
    3/4 c. sugar
    2 1/2 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1/2 tsp. salt
    9-inch pie crust
Preparation
    Slightly beat eggs.
    Add sugar, milk (substitute part with half and half or evaporated milk).
    Add vanilla and salt.
    Put in crust. Sprinkle with nutmeg.
    Bake in hot oven (400\u00b0) for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 300\u00b0 and bake until firm or when knife blade placed in center comes out clean, approximately 1 hour.
