Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. squash
    3/4 stick butter
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    2 or 3 eggs
    1/2 to 1 c. onions (depending on how much you like onions)
    1 c. Velveeta cheese (1 1/2 c. if you want)
    1 c. bread crumbs or broken up bread
    1/2 c. evaporated milk
Preparation
    Cook squash until tender. Drain. Add butter, salt, pepper and milk. In a bowl, beat eggs; add onions, cheese
    and bread. Put all ingredients in dish for oven and bake at 375\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes. Cube about 4 pieces of wheat bread; spread melted butter over bread and toast in oven. Put on top of casserole.
