Ingredients

1 c. sliced onions
2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
1/2 lb. Swiss cheese, grated coarsely
1 uncooked 9-inch pie crust
3 eggs, beaten
1 c. whole milk
1 c. light cream
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
3 crisp bacon strips, crumbled
Preparation

Saute onions in butter until golden and soft.
Combine with cheese and put in pie crust.
Combine rest of ingredients and pour over cheese and onions.
Bake in preheated oven at 375\u00b0 for 45 minutes or until a knife blade, when inserted, comes out clean. Cool slightly to serve.
Serves 6.
