Chicken And Dumplings - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 chicken, cooked and deboned
2 1/2 c. plain flour
1 1/2 c. milk
1 egg
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 can cream of celery soup
salt and pepper to taste
1 c. milk (extra)
broth from chicken
1 onion (if desired)
Preparation

Cool chicken and remove bones; set aside.
Mix flour, salt, pepper, egg and milk together.
Roll out on floured surface.
Cut into strips and then into bite size pieces.
Drop into broth (over low heat).
Add additional broth or water, if needed.
After all the dumplings are in the pot, add soups and extra cup of milk.
Let cook slowly for 30 minutes, then add chicken.
Serves 8 to 10.
