Spaghetti Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    a little oil
    1 large onion, chopped
    1 green pepper (large), chopped
    1 can mushrooms (optional)
    1 Tbsp. oregano
    1 Tbsp. sweet basil
    1/2 tsp. crushed red pepper
    2 Tbsp. parsley
    1 large can Italian tomatoes, crushed
    2 cloves garlic, chopped fine
    1/2 can water
    1 large tomato sauce
    2 small cans tomato paste
    2 tsp. sugar
    3 or 4 bay leaves
Preparation
    Cook on low heat for 1 hour.
    Simmer until right consistency. Add meat balls, hot or sweet sausage 1 hour after cooking, just before the simmering stage starts.
