Buttercream Icing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    1/2 c. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    4 c. confectioners sugar
    2 Tbsp. milk (usually takes more)
Preparation
    Cream the butter and shortening with mixer.
    Add vanilla. Gradually add sugar, 1 cup at a time, beating well.
    Icing will appear dry.
    Add milk; beat at high speed until light and fluffy. (Can be refrigerated for 1 week in an airtight container.)
