Gypsy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 doz. ladyfingers
    cream sherry
    6 c. boiled custard
    2 pkg. slivered almonds
    2 1/2 pt. whipping cream, whipped
Preparation
    Sprinkle sherry over ladyfingers.
    After sprinkling ladyfingers with sherry, layer custard, then whipping cream, then sprinkle almonds.
    Repeat.
    Do a day ahead.
    Season custard with a small amount of sherry.
