Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. cornmeal
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. self-rising flour
1 tsp. sugar
1 onion (finely chopped)
1 egg
milk

Preparation

Mix dry ingredients.
Add onion, egg, and enough milk to form stiff dough.
Drop small balls into hot oil.
Cook until golden brown.
