Ruby'S Broccoli Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 bunch broccoli
    1 small or medium onion, chopped
    2 tsp. sugar or equivalent sweetener
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 small can pitted olives, sliced
    5 hard-boiled eggs, chopped
    1/2 c. mayonnaise
Preparation
    Cut broccoli in bite-sized pieces, including stalk (peel if tough).
    Blanch or steam until just tender; amount of \"crunch\" a matter of personal taste.
    Drain and cool.
    Mix all ingredients. Chill, if desired, before serving.
