Green Beans With Roquefort Cheese - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 can (16 oz.) whole green beans
2 slices bacon
1 small onion, chopped
2 tsp. sugar
2 Tbsp. vinegar
2 Tbsp. juice from beans
salt and pepper
Roquefort cheese
Preparation

Cut bacon in tiny pieces.
Cook until crisp.
Remove and saute onion in bacon drippings. Add sugar, vinegar, bean juice, salt and pepper. Pour over beans overnight. Heat; add bacon bits. Sprinkle crumbled cheese generously over beans.
May also be served at room temperature.
Serves 4.
