Squash Souffle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. squash
    8 to 10 crackers, crumbled fine
    1/4 c. butter
    2 eggs
    1 large onion
    1 c. grated cheese (sharp)
    1/2 c. milk
    salt and pepper to taste (1 tsp. each)
Preparation
    Cook squash, onion, salt and pepper until tender.
    Drain water and mash.
    Add milk, cheese, butter, eggs and crackers; stir together.
    Bake in a buttered casserole dish at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes, or until brown.
