Nutty Canadian Cheese Block - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 pkg. (125 g) Philadelphia cream cheese, softened
1 1/2 c. finely grated Cheddar cheese
4 Tbsp. maple syrup
1/2 c. finely chopped toasted pecans
Preparation

In medium bowl, blend cheeses with 2 tablespoons maple syrup. Chill until firm, about 1 hour.
Shape into a rectangular block and brush with remaining 2 tablespoons maple syrup.
Roll in chopped pecans, or pat on with hands, coating cheese block evenly. Serve with assorted crackers.
