Spice Chiffon Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1 to 1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    3 tsp. baking powder
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1/4 tsp. ground cloves
    1/2 c. salad oil
    3/4 c. water
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    7 large eggs, separated
    1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
Preparation
    Have all ingredients at room temperature. In large mixer bowl, beat egg whites and cream of tartar until stiff.
    In small bowl, sift together dry ingredients; add oil, water, lemon juice and egg yolks.
    Beat until smooth.
    Gently fold batter into whites.
    Turn into 10-inch ungreased tube pan.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 55 minutes, then at 350\u00b0 for 15 minutes, or until done.
    Cool upside-down on neck of bottle.
