Eggplant Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium eggplant
    1 medium onion
    1/2 lb. (8 oz.) sharp cheese, sliced
    1 (15 oz.) can Hunt's tomato sauce (Hunt's Ready Chunky Special tomato sauce)
    cracker crumbs, buttered
Preparation
    Peel and cut up eggplant and onion.
    Boil or steam the eggplant in salted water until tender.
    Add onion.
