Festive Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    2/3 c. Pet milk
    12 regular marshmallows
    1 stick oleo
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. nuts (optional)
Preparation
    In a heavy 2-quart saucepan combine first 4 ingredients. Cook, stirring constantly over medium heat to a full boil.
    Boil and stir 5 minutes more.
    Take off heat.
    Stir in chocolate chips and vanilla until completely melted.
    Add nuts if desired.
    Pour into buttered 8 x 8-inch pan.
    Cool.
    Cut in squares.
