Midnight Mayonnaise Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. cocoa
2 tsp. soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. mayonnaise or Miracle Whip salad dressing
1 c. cold water
1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Mix all ingredients well.
Pour into a greased and floured 1-layer cake pan or double the recipe and use an appropriate pan. Bake at 350\u00b0 until tester comes out clean.
Cake should be moist; test one layer after 25 minutes.
