Chinese Pepper Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. boneless round steak
    3 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1 tsp. minced green onion
    1 tsp. sherry
    2 tsp. sugar
    1 tsp. ground ginger
    1/4 c. peanut oil
    2 large green peppers, cut in 1-inch squares
    hot cooked rice
    soy sauce (optional)
Preparation
    Partially freeze steak; slice across grain into 2 x 1/4-inch strips.
    Set aside.
