Hearty Chicken 'N Rice Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (13 3/4 oz.) can chicken broth
2 c. cold water
1/2 c. uncooked rice
1/2 c. celery slices
1/2 c. carrot slices
3/4 lb. Velveeta cheese pasteurized process cheese, cubed
1 1/2 c. chopped, cooked chicken or turkey
1 (14 oz.) can mushrooms, drained
Preparation

Combine broth, water, rice, celery and carrots.
Cover and simmer 20 to 25 minutes or until vegetables and rice are tender. Add remaining ingredients.
Stir until process cheese spread is melted.
Makes 5 (1 cup) servings.
Cooking time:
30 minutes.
