Crunchy Sausage Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. long grained and wild rice, cooked according to directions
    1 lb. sausage
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 large onion, finely chopped
    1 (8 oz.) can sliced mushrooms, drained
    1 (8 oz.) can sliced water chestnuts
    3 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1 (2 3/4 oz.) pkg. sliced almonds
Preparation
    Brown sausage, ground beef and onion together; drain well. Add mushrooms, water chestnuts and soy sauce.
    Spoon into ungreased 2-quart casserole.
    Sprinkle almonds over top.
    Bake, uncovered, at 300\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
    Serves 8 to 10.
