Six Week Muffins - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 box Raisin Bran cereal (large)
3 c. sugar
1 qt. buttermilk
5 c. flour
1 c. melted shortening
4 beaten eggs
5 tsp. soda
5 tsp. salt
Preparation

Mix all dry ingredients in a very large bowl.
Add eggs, shortening and buttermilk; mix well.
Store in bowl with tight fitting lid.
Batter will stay fresh for 6 weeks.
(We usually bake some immediately and save the remainder.)
