Autumn Tea Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    3/4 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1/4 tsp. ginger
    1/2 c. dark molasses
    1 c. pumpkin
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 tsp. grated orange rind
    3/4 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 c. walnuts
Preparation
    Sift first 6 ingredients.
    Combine pumpkin and molasses.
    Cream shortening, vanilla, orange rind and sugar until well blended.
    Add eggs, one at a time.
    Beat after each.
    Add dry and liquid ingredients alternately, a little at a time.
    Stir in walnuts. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 55 to 65 minutes.
