Pickled Sweet Peppers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 or 7 large red and green peppers
    1 1/2 c. vinegar
    3/4 c. sugar
Preparation
    Wash peppers.
    Remove tops and seeds.
    Cut peppers into strips.
    Cover strips with boiling water.
    Let stand 2 minutes. Drain.
    Pack peppers into hot sterilized jars.
    Boil sugar and vinegar together 5 minutes.
    Pour over peppers to fill jars. Seal.
    Makes about 3 (8 ounce) jars.
