Rhubarb Torte - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
1/4 c. sugar
1 egg yolk (save egg white for filling)
1 1/4 c. flour
1 Tbsp. milk
Preparation

Cream shortening.
Add sugar and egg yolk.
Mix well.
Stir in flour and milk.
Blend well.
Pat dough into 9 x 13 x 2-inch pan on bottom and sides.
Place rhubarb in crust and pour with filling.
