Apple Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. vegetable or corn oil
    3 c. sugar
    3 large eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    3 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. baking soda
    3 apples
    1 c. chopped walnuts
    1 c. raisins
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    In large mixing bowl beat oil and sugar together.
    Add eggs and vanilla, beat until smooth.
    In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, salt, cinnamon and baking soda. Stir the flour mix into batter.
    Peel, core and thickly slice apples.
    Stir apples, walnuts and raisins into batter.
    Turn into buttered, floured tube pan.
    Bake 1 hour or until toothpick inserted into the cake comes out clean.
    Allow cake to cool briefly in pan (10 minutes) as this will make the outside crunchy. Turn cake onto rack and allow to cool completely.
