Buttermilk Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    2 c. sugar
    4 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1 tsp. orange flavoring
    3 c. all-purpose flour
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs and beat well. Add vanilla and orange flavorings. Combine dry ingredients. Add to creamed mixture alternately with buttermilk. Spoon into greased loaf pan and bake at 300\u00b0 about 1 hour. Yield: 1 loaf cake.
