Apple Crisp - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 c. Post 40% Bran flakes
Preparation
    Arrange apple slices in a shallow baking dish.
    Cream the butter; blend in sugar, flour and cinnamon.
    Stir in cereal. Sprinkle over apples.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes. Sprinkle with shredded Cheddar cheese, if desired.
    Serve warm. Makes 8 servings.
