Chocolate Cherry Cake - cooking recipe

1 pkg. chocolate cake mix
1 can cherry pie filling
1 tsp. almond extract
2 eggs
1 c. chocolate chips
1 c. sugar
5 Tbsp. margarine
1/3 c. milk
Preparation

Mix cake mix, cherries, almond extract and eggs.
Bake in a greased 9 x 13-inch pan at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
In a saucepan, mix sugar, margarine and milk; boil for 1 minute. Remove from heat.
Add chocolate chips; stir until smooth.
Pour over hot cake.
