Grandmother Aldrich'S Hot Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. yeast
    1/2 tsp. sugar
    1/2 c. flour
    1/4 c. sugar
    2 eggs, beaten
    1/4 c. warm water
    1 1/2 c. water
    1/2 c. melted butter
    1/2 tsp. salt
    4 to 5 c. flour
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in warm water with 1/2 teaspoon sugar; let stand 10 minutes.
    Add 1 1/2 cups water and 1/2 cup flour to yeast mixture.
    Let stand 1/2 hour.
    Add butter, sugar, salt, eggs and flour.
    Knead and store in refrigerator until ready to knead again and make into rolls.
    I let stand in refrigerator overnight.
    Bake at 425\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
    Makes 3 dozen small or 2 dozen large.
