Rolled Sugar Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. butter, softened
    3 Tbsp. cream or milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 egg
    3 c. all-purpose flour
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    In large bowl combine first 4 ingredients.
    Blend well.
    Stir in remaining ingredients; blend well.
    Chill dough.
    Heat oven to 400\u00b0.
    Roll dough, 1/3 at a time, on floured surface to 1/8-inch thickness.
    Cut with floured cookie cutters.
    Put on ungreased cookie sheet.
    Decorate if desired.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 5 to 8 minutes or until edges are light brown.
    Remove immediately from cookie sheet.
