Guava And Ginger Marmalade - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. guava paste
    2 c. sliced guavas
    4 1/2 c. sugar
    1 pkg. Sure Jell
    1/2 tsp. fresh ground ginger
Preparation
    Add
    1/2
    cup
    sugar to the sliced guavas and set aside for 10 to 20 minutes.
    After the 20 minutes have passed, pour the guava
    paste and slices into a large pot.
    Add the ground ginger and
    bring to a boil.
    Add the sugar and the Sure Jell. Turn heat off.
    Pour into pint jars.\tMakes about 6 pints.
