Italian Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 cut-up fryer
    2 Tbsp. oil
    1/2 c. finely diced celery
    1 small minced garlic clove
    1 tsp. salt
    1 bay leaf
    1/2 c. Chablis wine
    2 Tbsp. minced onion
Preparation
    In a large skillet, brown chicken on all sides in oil Add celery, garlic and parsley.
    Cook 2 minutes and stir.
    Add salt, bay leaf and wine.
    Cover and simmer until chicken is tender, about 40 minutes.
    If desired, thicken sauce with 1 tablespoon of flour that has been blended with 1 tablespoon of water.
    Serves 4.
