Pumpkin Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. shortening
    2 2/3 c. brown sugar
    4 eggs
    1 (16 oz.) can pumpkin
    3 1/3 c. sifted flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. cloves
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    2 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2/3 c. water
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar.
    Add eggs and pumpkin.
    Beat well. Add sifted dry ingredients, 1/3 at a time alternately with the water.
    Add nuts and beat thoroughly.
    Bake in well-greased bread pans or loaf pans.
    Will make 3 bread loaf pans.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
