Clam Pie(A Hot Dip) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (6 oz.) cans chopped clams (do not drain)
    1/4 lb. butter
    1/2 c. chopped green pepper
    1/2 c. chopped green onion
    1/2 tsp. parsley
    1 tsp. oregano
    dash of Tabasco
    1 tsp. lemon juice
    1/2 c. bread crumbs (seasoned)
Preparation
    Simmer together the butter, green pepper, onion, parsley and oregano for 15 minutes; mix all together.
    I use a skillet that goes in the oven which also looks nice to serve in.
    Sprinkle to cover with either American, Cheddar or Parmesan cheese.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
