1 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
2 large egg yolks
2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1 (10 oz.) jar raspberry jam
1 c. chocolate bits
2 c. finely chopped walnuts
1 c. sugar
4 large egg whites
Preparation

In a large bowl, combine butter and sugar until creamy and well mixed.
Beat in salt and egg yolks.
Add flour and mix well, kneading with fingers to make a smooth dough.
Pat dough evenly into the bottom of a greased 12 x 17-inch pan.
Bake 15 to 20 minutes in a 350\u00b0 preheated oven until lightly browned.
Remove from oven and spread with jam and chocolate bits.
