Stewed Sweet Potatoes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 medium sweet potatoes
few pieces stick cinnamon
6 Tbsp. sugar
4 Tbsp. butter
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 c. boiling water
Preparation

Peel and slice the sweet potatoes.
Place in a heavy saucepan with all the other ingredients.
Simmer gently until tender, adding more water if necessary.
Allow the sweet potatoes to caramelize in the bottom of the saucepan.
Dish up with the brown, caramelized sides facing up.
