Cajun Bean Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 ham bone
    1 lb. Great Northern beans
    2 large onions
    4 stalks celery, chopped
    1 large can tomatoes
    1 large can tomato sauce
    2 Tbsp. chili powder
    1 c. chopped green onions (tops)
    1/2 c. chopped parsley
    1 lb. smoked sausage, cut into small pieces
Preparation
    Place ham bone in enough water to cover in a large stock pot. Add next 6 ingredients.
    Simmer for 6 to 8 hours.
    Add green onions, parsley and sausage 1 hour before serving.
    Makes 2 gallons.
