Peanut Butter Chewies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. Rice Krispies
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 c. plus 2 Tbsp. white Karo
    1 (18 oz.) jar Jif extra crunchy peanut butter
    2 Tbsp. margarine
Preparation
    Measure Rice Krispies and set aside.
    Measure and stir together in 6-quart boiler, the sugar and Karo. Stir and place over low heat, stirring constantly, until good boil.
    (Do not overcook.)
    Remove from fire.
    Add peanut butter and margarine. Return to low heat and stir vigorously until smooth.
    Remove from heat.
    Drop by spoon onto waxed paper.
