Salad Dressing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    4 egg yolks and whites of 2
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tbsp. cornstarch
    1 tsp. pepper
    1 Tbsp. dry mustard
    lump of butter (size of egg)
    1 c. vinegar
Preparation
    Cook in double boiler until thick.
    Put into quart jar.
    Will keep in refrigerator indefinitely.
    Dilute with cream when used.
