Our Favorite Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. butter
2 eggs
2 sq. melted chocolate
1 c. milk
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Cream together sugar, salt and butter.
Add eggs and beat until light.
Add vanilla and chocolate.
Add flour, sifted with baking soda and cream of tartar, alternating with milk.
Beat well and pour into a greased and floured 8 x 8 x 3-inch pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 minutes.
Cool on rack.
