Canned Red Beets - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    2 c. vinegar
    2 c. red beet water
    dash of salt
Preparation
    If using store vinegar, use only 1 cup.
    Cook beets, cut into bite size pieces.
    Fill jar 3/4 full of beets, pour mixture over beets in jar.
    Cold pack.
