Ingredients

1/2 c. butter or margarine
1/2 c. peanut butter
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/4 c. flour
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation

Thoroughly cream butter, peanut butter, sugars, egg and vanilla.
Sift all dry ingredients.
Blend into creamed mixture. Shape into 1 inch balls.
Roll balls in granulated sugar.
Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
Crisscross balls with a fork.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
Cool and enjoy.
Makes 4 dozen.
