Midnight Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
1/2 tsp. salt
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 c. sour milk
2 c. cake flour, sifted
1 c. boiling water with 2 tsp. soda
1/2 c. cocoa

Preparation

Cream sugar, shortening, salt and eggs.
Add cocoa, milk, flour and water.
Bake in 9 x 13-inch pan.
