Angel Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. dry yeast
    1/4 c. lukewarm water
    2 c. self-rising flour
    2 tsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    3 Tbsp. shortening
    1/2 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Soften yeast in water and set aside.
    Measure and sift dry ingredients together.
    Cut in shortening.
    Add milk and yeast; stir until well blended.
    Roll dough 1/2-inch thick and cut in biscuits.
    Place on lightly greased pan and let rise in warm place for 1 hour.
    Bake at 450\u00b0 for 10 to 15 minutes or until brown. Brush tops with butter.
